Taking dance lessons with The Fred Astaire Dance Studio was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning! Neither of us had much dance experience, but Heather made us feel completely comfortable and confident from the very first lesson. Their patience, clear instruction, and fun approach turned what could have been a stressful experience into one of our favourite parts of preparing for the big day.

They choreographed a first dance that felt so us — elegant, natural, and just the right amount of challenge. Our guests were blown away, and we had so much fun performing it!

As well as my mother-son dance with my mother. It was intimate and helped us bond and have that special moment together as mother and son.

Fred Astaire dance studio in Oakville is truly a magical place. The instructors are not only knowledgeable but they make you feel like anyone can learn to dance at any age (I’m 46) They combine just enough fun with pushing forward on technique. It has brought my partner and I closer and I wholeheartedly look forward to our private dance lessons. The line dancing has also been a super fun way to exercise and boost my energy. The group classes and Parties are a great way to meet others that enjoy dancing too. I can’t recommend checking out this place enough!

My wife and I have always wanted to learn to dance, and we are so grateful that we found Heather and Joe at the Fred Astaire dance studio. Dance has always intimidated me but, Heather and Joe have made learning approachable, fun, and something my wife and I look forward to every week. There are so many positives we can say, but we are just so thankful to have found a place that is so welcoming and leaves us wanting to keep coming back and pushing ourselves. What started as a fun date night has turned into our favorite hobby. My boyfriend and I have been dancing with Joe for two years, and we’ve loved every moment. Joe is an amazing teacher—professional, passionate, and skilled at keeping us engaged. He introduced us to dance styles we never expected to enjoy, and now we participate in group and line dance classes as well. The monthly parties provide a great opportunity to practice with different partners and showcase what we've learned. Whether you're aiming to become a professional dancer or just want to have fun, we highly recommend this studio!

What a wonderful place! I signed up for the introductory offer thinking I would take a couple of lessons and cross off a bucket list item. It quickly turned into my favourite activity of the week.
